MLM Success-Staying In The Game
MLM Success- Staying In The Game.
Having registered in the MLM business, full of excitement, enthusiasm, and HOPE, convinced you now possess the answer to all your financial problems to find out 3 days, weeks or months later that not everyone shares your vision.
For some, this realisation can be a crushing blow and a really critical point in the business. It is here that many people decide their dreams and goals are simply not worth the effort and discipline required to claim the success they thought they wanted.
Maybe they have introduced a few people into their team, and then watched in growing dismay as they stop returning phone calls, and then quietly fall off the end of the earth.
Yes it’s painful, annoying and deeply frustrating and does make people question whether the business does indeed work or is it just a con, just like all those friends and family have been saying?
At this juncture the choice is simple: and no matter how much the words may be fluffed up, or how politely worded the statement is the same: either “MAN UP” or tuck your tail between your legs and disappear back into herd.
I know this may sound harsh, but it’s the truth. There is no point misleading people that the Networking Industry is a walk in the park, and a simple stroll to the lifestyle of their dreams – sorry, but that is the language of fairy tales: Network Marketing is a business and like life, will throw significant challenges in your path just to test your resolve.
Yet it is these very challenges that fashion us into the individuals we need to become in order to attract the success we desire into our lives.
There is an old saying (author unknown): “It Is Better to Die on Your Feet than Live on Your Knees” which should be engraved into every Networkers Desk.
Network Marketing is not for the meek, mild mannered sheep of life, it is for those who are prepared to reach out, face down all challenges and chase down their dreams.
The battle will be fought and it makes sense to choose the ground: “You Can Choose To Pay The Price For Success….Or You Will Pay The Price For Failure.”
Every serious Networker will or already has reached this cross-roads and addressed the painful questions: Is it really worth the effort? Can I really Do It?
It may sound perverse, but this is an excellent sign as it now presents the opportunity to really challenge ourselves, our beliefs and to find out exactly what we are made of.
Some or perhaps the majority do, at this juncture, return to the herd, pointing the finger of blame at everyone but themselves, whilst others, appreciate the situation, understand they may have been a little naïve in the early days of their business, but take off their jacket, rollup their sleeves and get into it.
It is an unfortunate fact we live in an “instant society” and if our needs are not satiated immediately, run after the next shiny new object on the horizon.
Days pass into weeks, weeks into months, and then, at some stage we will awake and wander how we have got so old and achieved so little.
Remember: “Begin and Continue……….”
There is an outstanding quote by Lance Armstrong which has carried people through some of the really tough days.”
“Pain is temporary….Quitting lasts forever.”
